About

Nobody opens a studio because they love back-office software.

And yet that’s where the week goes. Chasing a pack balance. Rebuilding the schedule because one teacher is ill. Reading a report that counts a term paid in January as a brilliant January. We’re building the thing that absorbs all of that, quietly, and asks before it acts.

Why we exist

The admin didn’t come with the training.

Most studio owners arrived through the practice — two hundred hours of teacher training, a decade on the mat, a certification and a room they could afford. None of that was a business course. Then the business arrived anyway: dues, terms, payroll, no-shows, a tax return and four apps that disagree with each other.

The software that exists mostly tracks what happened. It tells you the 6pm is quiet in month three, when the emptiness is already a habit. It flatters a month that was really paid for in advance. And the new wave of it has decided the answer is an AI that acts on your studio without asking — which, if you’ve ever had a system send the wrong thing to two hundred members, is not a feature.

We think the useful version is narrower and more honest: absorb the admin, catch the drift early, draft the fix in plain language, and wait for a human to say yes.

What we believe

Four things that shape every decision.

01
Ask before you act

An assistant with the keys to your members and your money should draft, not decide. Approval isn't friction — it's the whole point.

02
Say the smaller true thing

We'd rather claim less and be believed. Anything not finished says so, on the page, next to the sentence.

03
The owner's time is the scarce resource

Not clicks, not engagement. If a feature doesn't give an hour back or catch a problem earlier, it isn't worth building.

04
Your data is yours

Exportable in full, whenever you ask, without a phone call. Lock-in is a business model, not a product feature.

The mechanics of how we hold ourselves to these are on How we build.
Who we are

A small team, building in the open.

Small enough that the person who answers you is usually the person who’ll fix it. We publish what’s shipped, what’s early, and what we won’t claim yet — because in this category that turns out to be the differentiator.
